Since 1956, our department has been providing emergency and non- emergency services to the citizens of southeastern Stokes County and surrounding communities.

The role of the Fire Department is ever changing, and we are working diligently to make sure we provide the best service possible to our customers.

I want to thank you – the citizens, business leaders, educators and visitors – for your continued support of the Fire Department. With your help and encouragement, you make the job of a Walnut Cove firefighter a lot better.

When schools, businesses and civic organizations open their doors for us to come in to do Fire and Life Safety education, this effort pays off for everyone in the long run.
